Booking Terms and Condition
SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Role of our company (The Company)
Acts solely as marketing, advertising, and booking service, facilitating reservations between Hirer and Owner/Agent.
2. Formation of Contract
Binding contract exists upon booking confirmation issued by Owner or Agent.
Booking Confirmation includes reservation details.
Payments made go directly to Owner or Agent.
Provisional reservations can be cancelled without penalty by Owner or Agent.
Hirer is authorized to book for all guests; all adults are jointly liable.
3. Booking Form Requirements
Complete booking form fully, including numbers of adults, children (under 16), and infants (under 2).
Staff completing bookings on behalf of Hirer must also adhere to this.
4. Payment Terms
Reservations confirmed only on receipt of booking form and payment (deposit or full).
Deposit is typically one-third of rental plus booking fee and Damage Deposit (or Waiver) if selected.
Balance due 6 or 8 weeks prior to holiday start, depending on property terms.
For late bookings (under 6 or 8 weeks), full payment due immediately.
Booking confirmation sent within 2 minutes via email.
Errors in prices can be corrected by Company.
Late or missing payments cause cancellation with forfeiture of payments and re-letting of property.
Payments made to Owner or Agent, not Company.
Payment reminders sent before balance due date.
5. Damage Deposit and Waiver
Damage Deposit refundable if no claim.
Damage Deposit Waiver non-refundable, covers accidental damage only.
Claims exceeding deposit value must be paid by Hirer.
Owner or Agent contacts Hirer regarding claims.
Refunds of deposits processed within 10 days of departure if no claims.
6. Arrival and Departure
Arrival from 16:00 hrs; departure by 10:00 hrs (may vary by property).
Access details provided by Owner or Agent.
Keys to be returned as per booking instructions.
7. Care of Property
Hirer and guests must keep property clean and tidy.
Responsible for damage or breakages; costs payable on demand.
8. Pets
Must inform Company if bringing pets.
Additional charges may apply.
Pets not allowed in bedrooms or on furniture.
No nuisance to neighbors.
Failure to comply may result in termination without refund.
Some properties do not allow pets; violations may cause booking cancellation without refund.
9. Occupancy Limits
Max occupancy as per property description and booking confirmation.
Owners/Agents may refuse excess guests or pets.
No stag or hen parties allowed.
Non-compliance may lead to termination without refund.
10. Alternative Accommodation
If property unavailable before confirmation, full refund issued.
If confirmed property unavailable, Owner/Agent will try to provide suitable alternative.
If unacceptable, full refund only.
11. Property Descriptions
Descriptions believed accurate but Hirer should seek clarification before booking.
Owner/Agent responsible for updates; changes of beneficial nature accepted without refund claims.
Free services offered may be withdrawn without compensation.
12. Use of Amenities
Use at own risk.
13. Access During Stay
Owner, Agent, or representatives may access property at reasonable times.
Tradespeople allowed for repairs with access.
14. Insurance
Company does not provide cancellation insurance.
Guests strongly advised to get travel/cancellation insurance.
15. Cancellation
Subject to Owner/Agent cancellation policies.
Written insurance claims supported with booking confirmation.
Non-payment treated as cancellation; booking re-let.
16. Complaints
Must be reported immediately during stay to Owner/Agent or local representative.
Unreported complaints after departure cannot be considered for compensation.
Repairs attempted but not guaranteed.
Property deemed unfit may entitle Hirer to rental refund only after termination.
17. Force Majeure
No liability for failure of utilities, weather, or external events beyond control.
Liability limited to rental paid if property unusable due to fire, flood, etc.
No liability for delays or failures caused by strikes, wars, disasters, or governmental actions.
18. Limitation of Liability
No waiver of statutory rights.
Company not liable for loss/damage beyond contract or negligence.
No warranty on property condition beyond last inspection.
No liability for oral representations.
19. Data Protection
Personal data used only for booking processing and contract fulfillment.
Data shared only with Owner/Agent and local representatives.
No personal data shared for third-party marketing.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Contract governed by English Law.
Disputes settled in Courts of Gene
